Building Your Own List in 3 Steps

OK, everyone has heard this "You NEED A List"

And it is true, you DO need a list that you can market to, feed your words of wisdom, wit and expertise to and build a responsive list of people that want your products.

The hard part is actually building that list! First thing you need is someplace to keep all those names and emails. An Autoresponder (AR) service or maybe even your own mailing list on your webhost (this can be dangerous when working with new members since they may not remember signing up and start submitting your mailings as SPAM and get you in hot water with your webhost!)

I personally use three different AR services for a variety of reasons. For my free gift people (who have yet to buy anything from me) I use Norabots (unlimited and much less expensive than Aweber. Once they have made a product purchase, I move them to Aweber and then when they purchase one of my training courses or sessions I move them to WebProsperity (since this is where I hold all of my webcasts from.

Now you may be thinking, this is great, three separate lists and all of them with a specific purpose. But you need to know HOW to BUILD your first one! Right?

Well, you will need three things to start building your list:

1. Traffic! If you can't get visitors, you can't collect names! Giveaway events are a great way to find traffic and they are set up just for this. To build YOUR list!

2. A way to COLLECT those names and emails. This is most commonly referred to as a Squeeze Page. And if you hurry, you can pick up a great looking set absolutely FREE here

3. And finally, you need something that you can give away to get people to fill out your form and collect the emails for! This can be a report that you created or one you have bought the Private Label Rights to.
