Cheryl Baumgartner CITRMS For the Unfettered Parents

It's back to school time. As parents we send our kids off to school trusting that they will be kept safe and out of harms way. We trust that the school will have our childs' best interests at heart. Is this really the case? As a parent we often don't know the schools policies an any number of matters. Here are a few things that you should check as a parent. Parental involvement in the educational process What rights do you have as far as your child being exposed to objectional material… Continue

Earl Adams THEN WILL THE END COME

THEN WILL THE END COME The second coming our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, will herald the coming of the end of earth, Jesus' creation. It will be a time of turmoil as never seen from the foundation of he world and will never be seen again. Those who proclaim Jesus as their Lord and Savior will have left the earth and know not the torment that will prevail. Torment prepared for those who follow Satan rather than Jesus, torment inescapable, for Jesus shall reign supreme. No matter where the un-r… Continue

Earl Adams DEVOTIONAL FOR COUPLES

WORK AS A TEAM There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. 1 JOHN 4:18 NRSV Since none of us is going to reach perfection during this lifetime, on occasion we will experience some fear in our relationships. For most, these fears will be minor: spending a little too much for an unnecessary luxury, gaining a little too much weight, making a decision without consulting the other, and so on. Actually, we don't fear our spouses' reactions as much as we wonder what they will think of us… Continue

Earl Adams MMEMORIAL DAY SERVICE MESSAGE

A TIME TO REMEMBER Exodus 6:6-6:8 We live in the best place on earth. Our nation is the best nation on earth. And our people are the most generous of all people on earth. You might be tempted to think of this as a little bit of heaven, right here on earth, but there is a problem. Our nation is at war. We are fighting the most unorthodox enemy we have ever known, and perhaps the most deadly enemy. Why do I say that? Because those who we are fighting against have no fear of death. In fact, the… Continue

Cheryl Baumgartner CITRMS Busy busy

I know I haven't been around much but like everyone else life seems to be dragging me in the direction it wants rather than letting me go in the direction the I want. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. Good things can come out of following the path you are urged onto instead of the one you choose. I was just published in a local trade publication here in San Antonio. Not just published but given the cover story for this edition! If you'd like to check out the entire issue here is… Continue

Mark Hultgren Building Your Own List in 3 Steps

OK, everyone has heard this "You NEED A List" And it is true, you DO need a list that you can market to, feed your words of wisdom, wit and expertise to and build a responsive list of people that want your products. The hard part is actually building that list! First thing you need is someplace to keep all those names and emails. An Autoresponder (AR) service or maybe even your own mailing list on your webhost (this can be dangerous when working with new members since they may not remem… Continue

Earl Adams A NEW YEARS MESSAGE FOR ALL

A Simple New Year’s Resolution Philippians 3:12-3:14 ILL. Have you heard about the man who moved into a retirement community to spend the rest of his life there? It wasn’t long until he had made a number of friends among the other residents. There was one lady he was especially attracted to, & she was attracted to him, also. So they spent a lot of time together. Finally one evening he proposed, asking her to marry him. The next morning he woke up remembering his proposal, but he couldn’… Continue

Arthur Webster Please do not send me any more emails like this . . . .

I was in my launderette, emptying the boxes when I noticed a well dressed young man watcing a particular machine very closely. "Don't worry," I told him "my machines won't damage your clothes." He stunned me with his reply . . . . "Oh. They're not my clothes - I never wear anything twice - I always bin my clothes once they have been worn but I do love to watch these machines in action." Naturally I was a bit disbelieving and asked him why he did this. "Because I can afford to." was his simp… Continue

Cheryl Baumgartner CITRMS Working on my letter to Santa

I've been a good girl this year! Okay I have been baiting that Canadian Caveman, but he started it! So I guess that means Santa should bring me everything on my list. Well I don't think I'll hold my breath, I doubt I'll find a million dollars all gift wrapped under the tree and a brand new Honda Ridgeline in the driveway with a big pink bow on the roof. So instead I'll ask for something reasonable like may all my friends here have a blessed 2009. May you all enjoy good health, the love of your… Continue
