I once ran a "morgue" filled with some of the most "lively" corpses you could imagine. While in Korea I participated in an exercise called Team Spirit. Part of the exercise was a mass casualty simulation. When the brass started the exercise they realized that they couldn't have "dead" people walking around on the battlefields so they designated my ward as "the morgue".

I spent an entire week playing cards, touring the surrounding area and just in general enjoying the company of ghosts from several countries including Scotland, Wales, Italy, Australia and even one from Russia!

I am a retired police dispatcher currently living in San Antonio TX. I grew up in Williamsburg VA and joined the US Army immediately after high school. I got to travel the Orient while stationed at Yongsan in Seoul Korea.

My military job was Field Medic, yes the ones that go into combat although in Korea I was assigned to the 121st MASH (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital). No there was no one in my unit named Hawkeye, Radar or Hotlips.

When I came back to the states I was stationed at Ft Lewis WA, as part of the 9th Infantry in a forward support battalion, which meant I spent my time doing one of two things. I was either on the base praying that Mt St Helens did not have another temper tantrum and blow her top and that Mt Rainier stayed sleeping. When not praying for the two volcanoes to keep a cork in it I was "camping" or at least Uncle Sam's version of it, usually in a desert somewhere. I also learned that American Deserts where not limited to Death Valley and The Badlands, Yakima in Washington state was only a few hours away so they sent us there regularly, after all 9th infantry was the designated "Desert" unit at the time.

After I finished my tour of duty I bounced around trying to find my niche. I've worked construction, as a hairdresser, candle maker, telephone answering service and finally found the best job in the world. I got paid to tell the cops where to go, sometimes that included going on calls but it was a very interesting and fun job.

Being with the police dept is a big part of me being with PrePaid Legal Services, I got to see first hand how green the justice system is. I don't mean green as in saving the Earth, but green as in those with dollars got justice, those without didn't. My entire mission now is to help level that playing field for everyone. Each of us deserves the same level of fairness and consideration.

My pets are deadly horrifying and constantly hungry for the tasty flesh of scammers and spammers

Blue Oyster Cult-Godzilla Godzilla's feeding habits are particularly brutal but pretty straightforward, he will stomp you first, then cook you with his "dragon breath" before gobbling you down whole.

El Chupacabras caught on tape(Warning very startling!) Senior El Chupacabra on the other hand is more concerned with terrifying you first. According to Chupa, goats and spammers are the same thing. Something about the adrenalin rush makes you much tastier so if you are scamming don't be surprised to see him with his glowing eyes standing behind you intent on sucking your blood. This is only two of my many pets that thrive on a diet of fresh spammer! Be warned they are laying in wait. For now I have a leash on them but if you spamthe site, they just may show up on your profile ready to feed!

Busy busy

I know I haven't been around much but like everyone else life seems to be dragging me in the direction it wants rather than letting me go in the direction the I want. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. Good things can come out of following the path you are urged onto instead of the one you choose.

I was just published in a local trade publication here in San Antonio. Not just published but given the cover story for this edition! If you'd like to check out the entire issue here is… Continue

Working on my letter to Santa

I've been a good girl this year! Okay I have been baiting that Canadian Caveman, but he started it! So I guess that means Santa should bring me everything on my list. Well I don't think I'll hold my breath, I doubt I'll find a million dollars all gift wrapped under the tree and a brand new Honda Ridgeline in the driveway with a big pink bow on the roof.

So instead I'll ask for something reasonable like may all my friends here have a blessed 2009. May you all enjoy good health, the love of your… Continue

Finally a little fun

What a week! I really did not know what I was getting myself in for but I found out quickly. I must say the admins here are treated much nicer than we are over on APSense 2.0. I really shouldn't say that. since it's only a couple of folks that give us grief on the whole (Hey Garnet, Peaceful you reading this? Your turn is probably coming too!)

I have been fighting the good fight against spam and we are winning! Now that I've got back up it should really be easier to keep up. But look at my Back… Continue

I think I broke my brain or how to run out of ideas to keep you busy online!

It has only been a couple of days since I said yes to being an Admin on APSense 2.0 (Yes that was a shameless plug to get you to check it out or at least check in and see what's happening). It seems my poor brain is empty. It's hard to just hang around looking for spam, checking posts and telling people "Move it to the Marketplace". Eventually you get bored. So how do I alleviate the boredom, I write posts. I've lost track of how many I've posted in the last 48 hours but it can be difficult to w… Continue

thanks for your comment. It was a sad day when Zepplin's drummer died. Can;t remember his name. The death of Keith Moon drummer for The Who was another sad day.
