- I met Brian Aldiss and Norman Spinrad at a Sci Fi Convention in Seattle in '83? 84? it was a while ago! Larry Niven was there also, but didn't actually meet him...his political stylings were Reagan Star Wars themed... and that is antithetical with many sci fi buffs who don't want armament in the skies... or those who understand that the United Nations went to the trouble to have many Nations (ours included) to sign agreements against this ... but I have read someof his novels and I enjoyed reading them. ..and I was gently chastized for having purchased from one with such political views! lol

ok INTERESTS: Life-in-general, My Grandchildren, keeping the plumbing flowing correctly in this olde house i rent, re-cultivating my love of houseplants ~ my plants are less than flourishing for the first time in 30 years...sad but true and no new starters.... my huge bromeliade made it thru somehow when I didn't water correctly or? I'm not sure what happened... another interest? listening to the children play while they're out at recess like they are now at the grade school across the street!
