My Grades
A high-school student came home one night rather depressed.
"What's the matter, Son?" asked his mother.
"Aw, gee," said the boy, "It's my grades. They're all wet."
"What do you mean 'all wet?'"
"You know," he replied, "...below C-level."
"What's the matter, Son?" asked his mother.
"Aw, gee," said the boy, "It's my grades. They're all wet."

sounds like me in high school. actually mine was slightly above C-level but mot much better. My 'A's' in history and related subjects were offset by 'D's' in english and related areas there. NEVER got any 'F's' though. If I had not done so poorly with my HS GPA, I probably would have ended up at a MAJOR University on a scholarship. I kicked butt on my SAT because I that was my only chance. 30 or so more points on my SAT would have changed things.
