Alright! Thanks for stopping by this 'getting started' tutorial and Welcome to Unfettered, where we reckonize that Web 2.0 Social Networking involves building relationships and trust before your prospects want to know about your "opportunity", If they ever even do!.
Opportunities are a dime a dozen, True Friendships are not.
The following GUIDELINES are designed to help get you started, and the Most out of your experience here. There is by no means one right way to social network, but there are many common mistakes which you can currently see plagueing the majority of social networks out there!
Social Networking's the name of the game. We aren't here to sell to our friends, we're not here to spam each others blogs and discussions....We Are HERE To Be SOCIAL, socialize, have FUN, make friends,HELP One Another and Create the BEST DAMNED Social Network Online! So if this for any reason doesn't sound good to you, you probably won't enjoy your time here.
Okay, so now that I am off my soapbox, where do we begin?
Well that just kinda depends where you're at. If your really new to the game, and you haven't taken the time to upload a profile photo yet, you should probably get right on that ;-)
Next you should fill out the rest of your profile, answer the questions found in your profile settings and fill out the about you part. Now this don't have to be overly personal or perfect, and you can always go back and change it anytime. Whatever you do just be sure to Clearly State Your Intentions.
If your still not sure what to do with it, take a look around at what others are doing, ask us or check out how NOT to fill out your profile and Killer Profile.
Now that we have that pesky little detail out of the way, your options are starting to look pretty wide open, you can go visit other people's pages, leave comments and friend's requests for them. You can start blogs, add videos and photos, join groups or even start one of your own. Now, if you do decide to start a group, please take the time to carefully consider what kind of group you will start and DO NOT rip off somebody else's group! Groups should be fun, engaging, unique....and not blatent spam bulletin boards.
That about covers it, we are striving to keep things simple and fun in a straight up enviroment. Oh yeah, you better believe we tell it like it is, and we really do love everyone....regardless of what they may think of us!
